There are bad things: -Too many long-term residents with old equipment. -Sites (including the large ones) are small, without the space for a car. But, on the other hand: -Great views of the ocean. -Friendly Staff. -Leveled sites. -Clean Restrooms, excellent laundry. -Fast wireless internet, but 5$ daily with "tengointernet". -Going to San Francisco is easy, rapid and cheap in Public Transport -a taxi to Daly city about $10 and the BART to San Francisco 5$/per-. And 10 minutes in car. Conclusion: -The best place to visit San Francisco.
They have only water and electric, but there is a general dumpster station. Leveled site. Large trees and great view of Lake Tahoe. Free wireless internet is slow, but works.
No hookups, leveled and big site (we had the number 34). There is a general dump station. Friendly volunteer staff. $10 with the National Parks Annual pass. You must keep the food in cabinets and freezer. The Bear-Lockers are not necessary with RV.
Some sites were really unlevel. A very undeveloped campground (Upper Pines was much better!!!). The staff was not very friendly. Of course there are no hookups and there is no general dump. There is near a river. By the way, if you want to visit the Sequoias go to Sequoia National Park directly.
